How do we choose the boundaries that we set? Are they too loose or too tight? It’s not an easy act to balance, but there are some guidelines to help.
Permission is the opposite of a boundary. A boundary is a restriction on what you allow others or yourself to do; permission is what you do permit others or yourself to do — in other words, a right. Whilst you need boundaries, you also need permissions.
